Economic Development Project Manager, Kodiak Area Native Association, Alaska
Tyler Kornelis is an Economic Development Project Manager at the Kodiak Area Native Association. In this role, Tyler works with the Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy for the Kodiak region, working to increase employment and incomes, create opportunities for entrepreneurs and existing businesses, and reduce the economic leakage in a community that is heavily dependent on importation of consumable goods. As the Regional Energy Coordinator for the Kodiak Region, Tyler works with isolated micro-grid communities to reduce dependence on fossil fuels through integration of renewables.
