Minna Pappila works as a postdoctoral researcher of environmental law at the University of Turku, Faculty of Law. Currently she is doing research on biodiversity law and also taking part in a research project of the University of Lapland: Oil Production networks in the Russian Arctic: societal impacts and potential for partnership. Pappila’s research interests include Finnish and Russian regulation on the use and protection of natural resources, with a special emphasis on biodiversity protection, forests and public participation. She has also published on issues such as non-state regulation and corporate social responsibility.
