Vice President and Senior Planner, AECOM Alaska Operations
Jon Isaacs is a Vice President and Senior Planner with AECOM Alaska Operations. He has 43 years of Alaska experience with a broad variety of arctic energy development and regional planning projects. This experience includes permitting and environmental impact assessment for oil and gas production facilities and pipelines, mining projects, hydroelectric projects and transmission lines, transportation facilities, and fisheries management plans. His work with a wide range of public, private, and Alaska Native clients, provides a valuable perspective for Arctic development and management issues, including responsible resource development. Jon has been working with Alaska Native stakeholders to incorporate Traditional Knowledge (TK) into resource development projects and management plans for over two decades, including Northstar offshore oil and gas EIS, Point Thomson Gas Condensate Initial Production System Project, the Effects of Offshore Oil and Gas Development Programmatic EIS, the North Slope Borough Comprehensive Plan, and Donlin Mine EIS project. He is currently on the Board of Directors for Institute of the North.
